Unsere VACC ist gemeinsam mit vielen anderen an ein gemeinsames NOTAM System angebunden welches unter anderem von Programmen, wie vRooute verwendet wird. Darüber können wir sowohl Real-NOTAMs für die virtuelle Welt freigeben, als auch eigene NOTAMs erstellen. Sämtliche NOTAMs welche einem Flughafen zugeteilt sind, finden sie auch auf den entsprechenden Flughafen-Infoseiten.

INFORMATION ON USE OF GP DURING LOC/DME EAST VIA RTT AND SPECIAL LOC/DME EAST VIA RTT APPROACHES LOWI. AS PUBLISHED IN THE AIP, THE PROCEDURES AS SUCH ARE LOC/DME PROCEDURES. THE FINAL DESCENT SHALL BE COMMENCED WHEN PASSING D18,2 OEV (FAF) , CHECKING THE ALTITUDE AT THE PUBLISHED DME FIXES. THE GP INFORMATION COINCIDES NORMALLY WITH THE PRESCRIBED CHECKALTITUDES. DUE TO REFLECTION CHARACTERISTICS DURING SPECIFIC WEATHER CONDITIONS (SNOW, HEAVY RAIN, ICE ON THE REFLECTION AREA) THE ADDITIONAL AVAILABLE GP INFORMATION MAY DIFFER TO THE DME CHECK ALTITUDES. FURTHERMORE SIGNIFICANT DEVIATION FROM ISA TEMPERATURES AS WELL AS THE LONG DISTANCE BETWEEN GP ANTENNA AND FAF AND FINALLY THE CURVATURE OF THE EARTH LEAD INTO POSSIBLE DEVIATIONS BETWEEN GP INFORMATION AND CHECK ALTITUDES DUE TO DIFFERENCES OF THE BAROMETRIC ALTITUDE AND THE GEOMETRIC ALTITUDE - ESPECIALLY AT FARTHER DISTANCES. THE GP IS MONITORED AND WILL SWITCH OFF AUTOMATICALLY IF THE DEVIATION WILL EXCEED SPECIFIC VALUES. HOWEVER FLIGHT CREWS AND OPERATORS SHALL REMEMBER THAT THE PROCEDURE IS BASICALLY A LOC/DME AND ESPECIALLY THE FAF AND THE CHECKALTITUDE AT D16 OEV ARE BASED ON THE RESTRICTING OBSTACLE WITH AN ELEVATION OF 7690FT AT D17,5 OEV. BEYOND D16 OEV THERE ARE NO MORE RESTRICTING OBSTACLES WITHIN THE TOLERANCES OF THE GP BUT THE DME CHECKALTITUDES SHALL BE OBSERVED.
